We have all been working very hard this term. In P6 we have been working on how to talk about ourselves and our families. Here are some of our posters from Aberlady and Dirleton. Your presentations were great!
In P7 meanwhile we have been learning how to describe ourselves. Here is one of our powerpoints from 7A at Law. Vous avez bien travaillé! Bravo à tous!
A little poem in French for us – all about “un pélican” called Jonathon. We need to know that “pondre un oeuf” means to lay an egg!
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was born on this day 110 years ago (you may have noticed it on Google today). He is a famous author in France and is best remembered for his book “Le Petit Prince” (you can read it in English too). The narrator, who is an air pilot, meets the little prince when forced to land in the Sahara Desert and he tells him all about his planet. The narrator tells us at the beginning of the book that he became an air pilot rather than a painter because grown-ups never understood his drawings. Here is a video about one of his drawings of a boa constrictor which grown ups thought was …a hat! Les grandes personnes ne comprennent jamais rien toutes seules! (grown ups never understand anything by themselves!)
L’Europe est sous la neige aussi! It is not just us who have lots of snow! See if you can work out where some of these photos were taken et …juste pour rigoler “Le Chat de Simon”.
Bonne rentrée à tous!
Bonjour à tous,
The pupils from the “école CBG de Kamsar” have decided to tell you about their houses.
