A day in Law Primary

A day in Law Primary

Hi this is Meganne, Emily and Breanna from P6C. We are going to tell you about a day in the life of Law Primary.
First we line up outside the door and the teacher takes us in at 8:45am. We take off our coats and un-pack our bags. We put on our indoor shoes and put our things on our cloakroom pegs.
We first cheek everyone is in the class so we know who here or not. Sometimes we do writing exercises and then we to maths setting apart from on Thursday when we go to class maths witch is when our whole class goes to a different teacher to get taught in maths
Then we go out for small break at break time. The boys play cops and robbers and the girls walk around gossiping then we go in when the bell goes.
After we go back to class for more lessons. Then the lunch bell goes and we go straight to lunch according to the bell, first, second, third and fourth. We can either have a school lunch where we bring our own money or we can bring our own packed lunch. If we have lost our lunch money then our nurse Mrs McCauley (misses. mac-o-lay) will give us some spare. After lunch we go back outside according to the weather.
After lunch we have lessons about our topic and we sometimes get French and art. On Friday we have 30 minuet golden time. We have lessons an till 3:15 and then we tidy up for 5 minuets and then we go home at 3:20 walking or getting driven.

Our post to you!

Hello Mrs Macniven and her class
It’s Rachel, Katie May and Mia here and we are going to tell you about what our lives are in school. We start at 8:45 and finish at 15:20. Usually at the start of the day we do reading, writing or a class challenge and then after we have maths setting after that we have break. At break we often do different things like 40 40, making up handshakes, playing on monkey bars and asking boys out!!
Our weekly homework tasks- Monday spelling, Tuesday maths, Wednesday Accelerated Reading, Thursday topic. We have done 3 topics so far which have been EU countries, woodlands and we are in the middle of the body. Mia and Katie are in maths set 1 and Rachel is in maths set 2. For spelling , we are all in set 1. We don’t have reading setting in p6 but we still do reading assessments.
We have lunch at 12:20 until 13:15. During lunch time every day there are clubs. On Monday us three go to singing/dance club, on Tuesday Rachel has Fairtrade meeting and Mia and Katie go to the p2 games club were we help p2s play games, on Wednesday we do no clubs, on Thursdays Katie goes to friendship bracelet making club and Mia and Rachel go to touch typing and on Friday we go to aerobics. We hoped you enjoyed reading this post.
