  3. Hi Robin, Thursday 6th October
We hope that your long journey is going OK? We had a busy Thursday in school today; the weather was very changeable with sunshine and heavy showers. It was National Poetry Day and so we read some different tree poems and made up our own Tree Haikus and Kennings poems. In drama we made up our own Greek myths and legends which was great fun! Lots of courageous heroes going on dangerous quests across the seas fighting against evil monsters to rescue a valuable object or person. In Maths we started our Kandinsky challenge using all our skills we learned over the last 3 shape lessons.
We started our Woodland Trails groups this afternoon with lots of chat and discussion about what we are going to include in our Woodland parks. We enjoyed working out our budgets and how to spend the £500,000! In RME we finished working out all the symbols of the Saints which we started last week. In between all of this we really enjoyed starting our new reading books as well as learning our songs for Burke and Hare.
