On Wednesday the 18th of February we had our P6 Ceilidh.
The was a lot of fun everyone had a great time we did lots of dances for example Gaygordans, Canadian Barn Dance, Waltz. We had lots of entertainment like singing, dancing, comedy sketches, piano playing, poetry, and best of all short bread and Iron Bru.

P6 Pupil Councillors
All the P6s had their Pupil Council elections on Thursday, here are the new pupil councillors: 6a- Melanie Bowden and Innes Ramsay, 6B- Kari McKain and Nicholas Allan, 6C- Morgan Gillespie and Ryan French.
Congratulations all new Pupil Councillors we hope you carry out all your duties well and go to all of the meetings.

February holidays
The February holidays are coming up soon and it’s 1 whole week and a day. Please tell us about what your gettiing up to? It could be staying at home even going somewhere special.

Parents Evenings
Parents evenings are taking place this week. People who had parents evening on Monday that was cancelled will now have it on Monday the 23rd of February 2009. The times will stay the same. We hope it will suit everyone.
UNICEF – Day of Change – Friday 6th February 2009
UPDATE WE RAISED £60.00 thanks to everyone who brought in money!
On Friday the Upper Area will be taking part in UNICEF’s Day of Change which this year is focusing on health care in Papua New Guinea. P6C will be doing their Assembly on this on Friday and we are asking the Upper Area to get involved by Dressing Down in the colours of the Papua New Guinea flag – black, red, yellow or white. (or a mixture of all of them!) We are asking for a donation of 50p for this fundraiser. Please dress up/down in the colours and bring your donation on Friday. This is the Papua New Guinea Flag:
