Weaving Whales from Willow

All primary 5 were lucky enough to be working with Gemma again over the past few weeks. Last week they did printing related to their Law project and this week they were frantically weaving whale shapes from strands of willow, carefully moulding them into whale sculptures. What great fun they had too. Thanks to Gemma.

Smashing Surround Sound

Today Gordon Turnbull came in and worked with all the primary five pupils to immerse them in sound activities including: listening to lots of different clips of music and then drawing how it made us feel or what it made us think of. Then we experimented with different sounds in nature.

Royal Wedding Celebrations

Pupils and staff celebrated the Royal wedding by organising lots of activities in school which the pupils rotated around.

On Thursday a picnic was held outside in the glorious sunshine. Every class decided on  an appropriately themed outdoor game which everyone then played. Much fun was had by all and everyone got into the spirit of things by dressing up in their best outfits or in red, white and blue.
