Symmetry Saunter

Today (Thursday) Mrs Macniven`s maths set went outside to do a Symmetry Saunter all around the school to see how many things they could find that were symmetrical.

They tried to challenge themselves so they were not just looking for things with only ONE line of symmetry. Here are some of the things they found.

Rockpools Ramble

All primary 5 classes are going down to investigate the rockpools at their local beach this month with Jen Edwards, our friendly neighbourhood ranger.

They have been developing their research skills and learning about what to expect when they are there. They have also been really thinking about saeshore safety and the importance of being responsible when rockpooling.

They will tell you all about their findings in their comments.
