We hope to see you all soon!
Some pupils from 5B went down to the Scottish Seabird Centre today to show their pop-up books for their exhibition. Guess who they met….!! Click here to find out.
Please go to the Learning Zone then Middle Area P5 blog to reveal this year’s winners of the Stamp Quaich!
Well done to all the children who sang, danced, played instruments and recited poems on the day! You were all fantastic!
The Primary 5s now have a blog with our French Friends from Paris. Click here to get to our joint blog. They have made us two videos…one to introduce themselves and the other to wish us a Merry Christmas! Awwwww!
Following the successful trip last year our French Friends are returning to visit us! They will be here on Tuesday 27th May for the whole morning. They have their very own blog too! It is in its early days yet but here is the link if you want to see what they look like and find out about them.http://cm2b-nanteuil.blogspot.com/
Middle and Upper pupils have been taking part in Skipping Workshops on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. A boy and a girl from each class were chosen to take part then they demonstrated their new amazing skills to their friends in the gym hall.
We were all SO impressed with how good they were so well done if you took part! I think there will be so many people asking for skipping ropes at break that we will run out. Enjoy learning your new skills and remember…it is great exercise (i.e. totally exhausting!)
They were skipping so fast at this point that they are just blurs in some of the photos!
Literally! There’s skipping galore at Law Primary this week. The middle and upper pupils have had the opportunity to join in a skipping workshop. More news to follow…
See Middle Area Blog for more Christmas photos…
Well done to you all! You managed to raise £2326.42 for FARM-Africa!
On Tuesday 6th November, the P1s all the way up to the P7s raised this huge amount…with their wellies!! The whole school took part in all sorts of fun and educational activities to raise money for the charity. Some of the P4s decorated wellies and cut them out. They then stuck them onto a big piece of yellow paper to spell out the word Africa. Mr Barnes liked it so much he used in the Whole School Assembly!
Mr Barnes asked all the Pupil Councillors from P1-P7 to speak into the microphone at the Sports Centre to tell all the boys and girls what they’d done to help raise money for FARM-Africa in an enterprising way. As they told him what they’d done, Mrs Clark from the school office told us the running total after each year stage. Mr Barnes had predicted that we’d raise over £450. He used coloured welly boots pegged to a badminton net to show all the children how much we’d raised at each stage. By the time he’d gotten to P2 he’d realised that the target had been met already!!! WOW!! Have a look at the photo below to see the total money raised by the children and their families.
And the best news is there is still some money being counted as I type! Well done for all your hard work, your kind sponsors and donators and all the teachers for their support. FARM-Africa will be over the moon. Even Mrs Ford brought her wellies!
