Today the whole school got involved in a Malawi Day in order to raise money for the school kitchen we are helping to fund.
Everyone dressed in the colours of Malawi flag and there were lots of different learning activities going on all around the school including a Malawi Maths challenge.

i liked the bongo drums and i liked walking around the school with cups and dressing down in black,red and green
I think Malawi is an unfair countryand needs help on wdnesday we experianced of what they had to do it is realy unfair of what they had to do but we are supporting them all the way through.
Malawi kids walk to the village and back to the well so much and earn about 30 k it is so unfair and if they spill any they get less money.253 k is one pound that is a lot of kwacha
I thought that malawi Maths was fun. I thought that it was unfair for children to walk to a well . Why don,t the adults do that
I think the Malawi maths was really fun especially when you had to do as much plats as you could. I was surprised at how many kwacha in a pound there are 253.

In Malawi kids our age work on a farm and thay get payed 50 kwachas a week.

I thoght that the walking around the cencery gardens was tirening but they have to walk firther.Ithoght that puting the seed’s into the difront piles was dificult but they work loinger.
I was shocked that it was 1300 kwacha for a backpack. I learned that there is 253 malawi kwacha in a british pound. I enjoyed the seed sorting thing
I liked malawi maths because my favirote set was the seed thing and it was great fun.
I thought that it was amazing how a £1 is the same as about 150 k and I think it is unfair for them.

I found the malawi day really tricky because i have never braded before and the seed sorting was quite anoying.The water one was really egsausting.
i realy enjoyed the malawi day because we got to dress in the colours of the malawi flag and the maths was good! in miss brodie’s activity we had 5 different types of seed’s and we split them into 5 piles it was realy fun!
