Going to Know Academy is really good and fun. Some say Knox Academy is like every other school, but they would be very very wrong!

We get a wide range of subjects from English to technology and teachers are nice as well. We have a points system at Knox Academy so if you loose points then it may affect your activities week. The point system starts with 100 points and if you fall below 75 points you will not be allowed to take part in any fun activities for example: activities week. Activities week is a time that everyone can enjoy, in first year you pay £55 to do a whole load of fun trips in a week, like Glasgow’s  science centre e.t.c, Then in second year they step it up a notch and give you better opportunity’s to go abroad to Italy and France PGL you also get to go to London which you will get to do fun activites there like altyon towers and go to the theatre, whereas Italy is more of a educational trip that will also be very good, and PGL is all about water sports which sounds great even tough these trips cost alot its worth it,and in older years you will get better  opportunity’s to do trips!!

In Knox Academy there is lots of extra curicular activities that most people above the 75 points mark can join, like trampolining, football,rugby,science club, homework club, basketball club, orchestra and choir if you do well on these you may get points!! there is many more activites that you can find out about on the knox academy website.

If you struggle with any subjects there is always going to be people around the school to help you with what you are struggling with, for example: there is learning support where you will get all the need you enquire.

Bullying goes around every single school but theres no need to worry as in Knox Academy there is plenty of help, like guidence and head teachers you can also go to a teacher you can trust the most and they will be happy to help so dont be scared to speak up!!!
