This Unit of work looks at ‘Evil’ and considers what different people mean when they use this word. In the first lesson rapper Dizzee Rascal introduces the idea of Evil having something to do with incomprehensibility through the lyrics of ‘Excuse me Please” from his past Album Maths and English.

Who’s in charge of the stupid place?
I wanna punch his stupid face
Yeah, it ain’t right but it’s a shame
Gotta be someone I can blame
Someones gotta have answers, someone’s written a master plan
Cause I can’t see no sign of God’s involvement, this has gotta be man
So much madness in the world
So much evil and confusion…”
