We spent Day 2 of our Health Week in Humbie Woods with our Rangers, Richard and Leigh. We wore our warmest clothes and had a fantastic day filled with many activities. We looked for animal tracks and trails, drank hot chocolate, crossed a river, built a campfire and ate pancakes and toasted marshmallows. We are extremely grateful to Richard and Lee for a really interesting, active and exciting day. We loved being outdoors for the whole day and all thought it was “the best day ever at school”. We can’t wait to do it all over again soon!

Wow, it looks like you all had fantastic fun in the woods yesterday! The hot chocolate looks yummy and I’m glad you kept warm. Well done everyone, Suzanne.
We enjoy seeing everyone at Humbie School doing all these amazing activities, especially Daisy and Oli! greetings from Ian and Madeleine McCormick, Christchurch, New Zealand.
You look like you all had a great time in Humbie Woods P1/2/3. Hope you are all still working hard. Miss Skinner
Hi everyone,
We’re glad you all had such a good time and look forward to working with you again sometime. The Ranger Service has its own blog at http://edubuzz.org/rangerservice/ and I’ll post some of our photos there in the next few days.
In the meantime, don’t step in any badger toilets!
Richard the Ranger
