We want to change our constitution, the set of guidelines which describe how we work, and we have to let all parents know about this. We want to remove the position of ‘Treasurer’ from our constitution as we no longer carry out any fundraising work and so we don’t need one. A full copy of the constitution and the intended changes is available to view here.   A copy is also currently displayed on our noticeboard and paper copies are available in the school office.

Draft landscape proposals feb 2011

The above link shows the plans for the new Haddington Infants/St Mary’s playground.  The Butts are shown on the right of the drawing. The plans have been drawn up by East Lothian Council’s Projects Team, with input from the two Headteachers and parent representatives, for the imminent planning application.  Some parts of the playground design need to be included in the planning application (changes of height, structures and hard surfacing for example) but there is still lots of scope for parents to comment. And of course anyone can comment on any part of the design to East Lothian Council planners once the  application is registered (see East Lothian Councils Planning Online service).
