Proposed number of classes
Current planning by ELC suggests there will only be 11 classes for the school year commencing Aug 2008 comprising 4 x P1; 3 x P2; 3 x P3 and 1 composite P2/P3. The PC will be writing to Don Ledingham shortly to voice our concerns but what you do think? Please give us your comments.
Length of lunchtime
At the PC meeting held on 28th April, concern was raised about the length of the lunchtime break especially for P1s – see minutes for more details. What do you think? Give us your comments.
P4 Class Sizes at Kings Meadow
At the PC meeting of 18th Feb, concern was again raised about the projected P4 classes at Kings Meadow for the school year starting Aug 2008 – see minutes for more details. Debbie Strachan, PC Chair, has written to Don Ledingham (Acting Director of Education & Children’s Service, ELC) and Donald McGillivray (Headteacher Kings Meadow).
