P3 Egyptian Museum and Fairtrade Cafe

Before the Easter break the P3′s were working very hard learning about Ancient Egypt.   Each class turned there classroom into an Museum full of ancient Egyptian

artifacts and information.  Doors opened on the 28th of March for the school and the 29th for the public.  We had an amazing response and judging by the comments in our visitors book everyone went away very impressed.  We also ran a fairtrade cafe and had a souvenir shop.  News even spread to the East Lothian Courier who came along to take photographs.  All proceeds from the day went towards a visit from Cool Creatures for our Rainforest topic.

  1. I was very impressed with the Museum and thought all the kids did a wonderful job of showing us their work. Well Done to the security guards as well!! It was interesting to see that the classes all worked on different things.
