Today we learned how to write a poem inspired by Michael Rosen’s poem – Do I know you?

Here is an example:

i’m lost,i’m lost

i don’t know where i am

i’m a needle in a haystack

i’m dirt on the street

i’m the friend in friendly

i,m the power in the computer

i’m the sound in a speaker

i’m a colour in a pencil

i don’t know where you are

you dont know where you are

you dont know when i is

you dont know how you was

you dont know who i wiz

 

so find me

find me

ask me who iam

get me out of the haystack

clean  the street

make me the friendly

so turn off the computer

turn down the sound

and use my colour.

then you ‘ll know where you are

you’ll know when i is

and you know how you was  and

you’ll know who i wiz
