Good morning children. My name is Sage. I am a good friend of Onion’s. I met him in the forest and he was telling me how much he enjoys being with you in your class. He also said that Mr Dagger is a nice person to work with. Onion tells me that you are all very good at art and work very hard in your studies. I have decided that I would like to spend some time out of the forest and in your learning community.
I will be taking a carriage from the forest and will be arriving in Gullane Primary at about lunchtime. I am looking forward to meeting you all.
I am bringing something for us to do together.

Clay is great fun and you can make lots of things with it as you have shown! It looks like lots of work went into this task. I especially like the round shapes and your use of card and circular shapes to make the patterns.

I was just wondering how Onion was enjoying his time with you all. Will he be able to watch us all on Sports Day or will he be busy with other plans? I also hope that he is getting along well with Mr D.
