Snowmen
We used a foam shape to create our own snowmen. The children used black paper, orange card, ribbon and pens to design their own unique snowmen.

On Wednesday we made Christmas biscuits. We cut holes in them and put a boiled sweet inside before baking them.

We made angels using our handprints. First we used both hands to create the wings. Then we used one hand to make the body. Next we added a head and face. Finally we glued on wool hair and a halo.

Using their knowledge of mixing red and yellow, P1 created sunset pictures. Once the paint dried we added a blob of runny black paint and using a straw blew it to create tree silhouettes.

Today Onion brought in 2 sounds that he had found. They were ‘e’ and ‘n’. We put them together and found they made ‘en’. The children then used their magnetic letters to see what rhyming words they could make. We did a sweep around the class and found we had made a lot of words! [...]
