Terrific Tartan
Last week was Scottish Week at school and Primary 1 learned poems, made shortbread and some members of the class chose to design their own tartan using Kidpix.

Primary 1 are continuing their experiments with colour. They were asked to paint some yellow squares, some red squares and then some squares with the colour that red and yellow mixed together makes. We found the answer was orange. After our paintings were dry, we turned our square shapes into houses.

We have been invegtigating colour in Primary 1. We have discovered that yellow and blue mixed together make green. We made these lovely seascapes using ONLY blue and yellow paint!
