Funky Moves

We hope you all had a fantastic Easter break and

didn’t eat to many chocolate eggs

The children requested Scooterboards for this month.

Some had never used them before so we had

such a laugh working on our balance and also most importantly

keeping our fingers safe from the little wheels!

We learnt to travel on a white line sitting forward…..

We learnt to travel in REVERSE on a white line…..

We even had a go on a zig zag path through cones…..

This was a little tricky but as always, we had lots of

fun and giggles

The children love these scooterboards!

I personally find them a little tricky! 

We finished with a few games of Body Ball Tig

 and a nice slow stretch

Elliot has asked if he can challenge the children next week…

I’m sure you would agree!

We have been working really hard on all aspects of ball skills this month.

From catching and throwing, bouncing, controlling ball along a line with our feet.

 to moving ball around our body, kicking and trapping and lots more!

We even had a go at a new movement called ” Ball Shuffle ”

The children have worked very hard, they have had lots of giggles and

lots and lots of certificates!

Well done!  You are all STARS!

Its hard to believe that January is over all ready!

Our Morning group sadly had no session on Monday

due to Primary 1 assembly running late and

we had a guest speaker visiting too.

Our afternoon group had a great session!

We added a couple of extra work stations,

Balancing a bean bag on head and travelling along a line

and

Hopscotch!

the majority of the children were at home due to the

terrible weather conditions.

Our afternoon group threw themselves back

 into the session with much eagerness and strength!

 back in December for the New Year

We were amazed how much we have grown

and how much stronger we are!

Before we knew it, the session was over!

We started our sessions again on Monday

and have been very busy!

Our morning group concentrated on Aiming & Catching skills.
