BBEL Take the Glasgow – Edinburgh 2011 Challenge by Canoe

Stevie Nelson (East Lothian Council) and Rab Gilmour (BBEL Volunteer) will be taking part in the Glasgow-Edinburgh Canal Challenge  2011 8/9th October , to raise funds for Beyond Boundaries East Lothian.

The event is over two days with set stages.

Day 1 – Forth & Clyde Canal from Speirs Warf, Glasgow to Falkirk Wheel, c. 24 miles.

Day 2 – Union Canal from above Falkirk Wheel to Lochrin Basin, Edinburgh, c. 31 miles.

    hi just to say two others undertook this challenge with the guys from bbel , Stuart and Elizabeth Jones, they have never done anything like this before , so i just want to say a big well done to them all , and well done for raising funds for a great cause.
