Having worked in such a dedicated fashion during our recent Fairtrade Enterprise Project, P 7 not only chose a variety of Fairtrade Countries to further investigate, but also used this information to advantage during their Literacy and English.

Due to their passion to increase the number of Fairtrade products, they decided to write letters to nearly two dozen shops, businesses and companies of their choosing, in order to try and persuade them to become Fairtrade.

We then read them out to each other in order to assess how persuasive they sounded, before carefully addressing the envelopes, using the thoroughly researched full postal addresses.

 After checking to make sure everyone’s letter was finished and details completed correctly, we carefully stamped them, before our eager volunteer popped them through the letterbox at the Village Post Office, on her way home!

 We now wait with baited breath for replies to hopefully arrive…..
