Science Week 2012

Monday 12th March – Friday 16th March

Following the success of last years science week, we are hoping to make this years even more spectacular. The British Science Association theme for National Science and Engineering week is OUR WORLD IN MOTION, this will be our theme too. We are looking forward to a visit from scientists at Edinburgh Uni, guest speakers, a whole week of activities and a special science showcase.

The children are being asked to engage with science in the home and bring back to school something they have discovered or made. They could perform a simple experiment, make an object or perhaps research a scientist or invention, you could even create your own invention. Bring your completed project, item, photo, picture into school, any day during science week but to be included in our “Science Showcase” they will have to be in school by Friday 16th March. We will be holding our science showcase on Friday 16th March at 11am so the whole school, parents and carers can see all your wonderful science ideas.
