That’s just for the last current marking period… You should see a little drop-down menu in the bright blue bar near the top of the page. Click the small arrow and change it to ‘School Year’ and then the total word count show.

That’s a shame your Home Connect doesn’t work…have you asked your teacher/pupil council about it? It’s a great resource, especially the book shelf where you can see all of the book you have read!
I’ll get the class to have a look at your photos at the end of our I.C.T. lesson today. It’s lovely having a link between the two schools!

Dear P4d and Mrs McBirnie, I came across your site on the eduBuzz feed and was so delighted to read all the comments particularly about how excited you all are about Accelerated Reader. I remember teaching you all in P2 and I still think about you often and wonder how you are all getting on. It seems that you are all really enjoying being in P4 and are learning so many things.
