At the beginning of our new term, the class decided on their rules.
They also discussed reasons for losing Golden Time and what they would like to do as a reward for great behaviour on a Friday. Soon a Golden Time timetable was created…
Once a month P4d want to enjoy a Special Golden Time when non-electrical items from home can be played with in the classroom. On the other Fridays the class will enjoy science experiments, problem solving activities, board-game sessions and outdoor games (in nice weather!)
I hope P4d enjoyed their first Golden Time of the year!

This week P4d found out what happens when the milk in our fridge goes off! We added vinegar to some milk to make it acidic and then filtered it through coffee filter paper into a glass. The class were amazed to see the “whey” form and although it looked quite disgusting they learned how cheese is made!
That was yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(to look at)
Can you put the ingredients for the lava lamps on edubuzz.
To make a lava lamp you will need:
a glass jar (such a a jam jar)
water
food colouring
oil
a fizzing tablet
1. Fill a 1/4 of the glass jar with water.
2. Add some food colouring.
3. Add oil so the glass jar is full up to the 3/4 mark.
4. Drop the tablet carefully in.
5. Be amazed!
