After our busy maths-filled morning, P4c enjoyed their games festival this afternoon. The class found out about Victorian card games such as ‘Old Maid’ and ‘Happy Families’ and then they experienced games of today…on the Wii! The class all agree that learning can be fun!

Today P4d enjoyed playing with P4b at Lauderdale Park…the sun even joined us! Woohoo!
On Thursday afternoon P4d had to crack a code by successfully completing an incredibly difficult maths task.
As a reward our, for maths lesson today the class baked fairy cakes. The groups had to work well together, use their measurement skills and have a sound knowledge of time.
Last Friday P1-6 enjoyed a very big picnic as part of our end of term celebrations. The year-stages sang summery songs, we ate ice-cream and the sun even popped out!
P4d have been learning about Fractions. Today our lesson was based on ‘summer Holiday Fractions’ -they had to figure out the answers to real-life problems.

Last night some of the teachers visited the new school! It’s very impressive and I’m sure P4d will love it.
Although P4d didn’t win Sports Day, they were a fantastic team showing both unity and talent. Well done P4d, I’m really proud of you all!
Today a lady from Scottish Power spoke to the P4 and some P5 classes about personal safety in and around the home.
Today P4d are visiting the public library to receive a new book to keep. Two weeks ago the class gave our librarian, Anne Hampshire, a list of books that they would like and they cannot wait to receive them today!
