Our community books are out in various places around Dunbar – we have put over 70 books in coffee shops on the High Street, the Dr’s surgery, the train station, the vets, the hairdressers plus other places that we hope you will discover.

If you find a book and want to read it please take it home – read it and then return it somewhere else within Dunbar that someone else will discover it and read. The tell someone what you thought about it or write something on our blog:

Dunbar Reads together

The whole idea is to see if we can get lots and lots of the Dunbar Community reading one or all of these books and sharing what they thought about it.

Dunbar Reads Together is just what this actvity is about. Please support it.

Please remember to wear some tartan on Friday to our Scottish assemblies at both John Muir and Lochend campus.

As part of their study on Water P2 will be holding a Christmas Singalong on Tuesday 18th December 9am in the hall. All donations will go to Pump Aid.

In the afternoon p2 have their Christmas Party pupils can come dressed for the party.

P1A D & E Wriggly Nativity

Primary 1 will be performing their Wriggly Nativity on Friday 14th December. There will be two shows for parents and carers.

Dunbar Primary School wore their spots for Children in Need today.

Remember tomorrow will be Children in Need day at Dunbar Primary. Don’t forget to wear something spotty and bring a pound.

The MADD stunt team from Belhaven Bikes  visited Lochend Campus this morning and showed us some brilliant moves…….including jumping over various members of staff!

Dunbar Primary will be holding it’s own Olympic opening ceremony on Monday. Each class will represent a participating country and will be waving their flags and sharing some performances with each other.

On Friday morning during school the children will be attending a Jubilee Picnic. If you could send in a small drink and snack on Friday morning. Weather permitting we will assemble as a whole school at Hallhill and eat our picnic.
Please could your child come to school dressed in red, white and blue.
