P5 Basketball Festival!

On Monday all P5 pupils attended the Basketball Festival at Dunbar Grammar School. Once we got there we were all split into groups and mixed with pupils from both West Barns and Innerwick Primary. We had 6 stations that we all visited.  All stations had activities which involved testing our own fitness, shooting and mini-basketball games!!  All teams worked very well with each other and had a great day!! :)

P5 Homework Update

We are pleased to welcome back P5A and P5D from their York
trip (P5C and P5B – the fun is still to come!)

Here is a quick reminder of homework tasks for the rest of
the term to help you get back into the swing.

Topic homework should be handed in on 9th and 16th
March with the maths homework due on 23rd March.

A huge well done to everyone who took the time to explore
the activities suggested in the Meaningful  Maths leaflet.   The
feedback we have received on the games and websites in the leaflet has been extremely positive and we are very pleased to have been able to hand out so many certificates and awards throughout the fortnight.

P5D are making headlines!

Today P5D were hitting headlines as they wrote fantastic newspaper articles about the first moon landing. We used alliteration, puns and rhyme  to make our headlines catchy. Among the many super ideas were – Nasa is Buzzing over Moon Landing, Armstrong is over the Moon, Fantastic First Flight For Apollo 11, Neil and Buzz do the Moonwalk!

Brilliant work today boys and girl
