• I know how to protect my computer from danger when using the internet.
• I know how to protect myself from harmful activity on the internet.

Task – What I need to achieve!

•  You can work individually or as a group for this task
• You need to make up a google presentation that explains AT LEAST 3 of the following points:

1. What are the dangers to your computer/data when you are using the internet?
2. What can you do to stop them
3. How can you be sure shopping and electronic messages are secure?
4. What are the dangers to YOU when you are using the internet?
5. How can you keep yourself safe

• When you are done you should share your presentation with your class teacher.

• Chapter 1 (p9) of the course textbook “Computing and ICT” has lots of information – ask your teacher for a copy in class.
• You will not have time to use all these links in class, so prioritise and perhaps plan to visit some of them at home or during lunchtimes in a technologies classroom.
