Pupils in primary 3 and 3/2 had a visit today from the Hearing Impaired Unit. As part of their new topic – Meeting Everyone’s Needs the children are learning about hearing impairment. Today they had an opportunity to learn how to finger spell their names using Sign Language.
Fire Safety Week

Throughout the school have been learning all about fire safety this week. In primary 3/2 pupils went around the school and completed a survey of fire safety signs and equipment. They are now excellent at identifying fire safety signs.

Pupils in primary 3/2 have been learning about the poem Tam o Shanter by Robert Burns. They have been using a web cam to create a stop frame animation of Tam’s horse Meg going over the bridge.
Judo Taster Session
