On World Book Day, a pink fairy appeared in our school.  She said that she had lost her wand and the children were writing about how they could help her. The photos below are a few examples of some of the ideas.

Our representatives from Primary 4 went to London to take part in the Active Kids get Cooking Awards ceremony in London. The children had fun with some blind food tasting activities. It was lovely and sunny today and P2/1 took advantage of the summer weather and  planted one of the new planters in the school garden.  The soil needed lots of digging, before planting the bulbs and the little bean plants that have been growing in class.  We will look and see if they grow over [...]

It was very hot and sunny at sports day this year.  Children have been competing to earn points for their school house.  The house winners will have a special treat next week.  The winning house has still to be announced.  Check the blog later for more news.

Primary 2/1 have been looking at seeds and plants.  They have planted some beans, sunflowers and cress in the classroom.  The cress is growing very fast. During walk to school week, pupils were recording how they travelled to school.  Pupils have been learning to use Microsoft Excel in ICT to create tables of the data and to use charts to present the results.
