Primary 6 Assembly

Today the Primary 6 class presented the assembly.  They have been learning about Europe, and have tried using technology to present information in different ways.  They worked in groups to research and present their information. Below are some images from their presentation.

 

P6 Project

Pupils in Primary 6 have been working on personal projects.  Today, Owen shared his project about Dennis the Menace with the rest of the school on our regular Glowmeet session, where pupils are encouraged to read a story or share good work.

All pupils have been issued with their own personal glow login details. P6 Share their Stories on GLOW

Five pupils in primary 6 shared their writing with the school today.  The pupils read their work confidently to the webcam and children in other classes were able to view the stories on the whiteboards.  They answered questions from children with confidence.  Well done girls! Young Writer Winner

Congratulations to Callum in P6 for winning one of the top prizes in West Lothian’s Young Writer of the Year competition.  He will now attend a prize winning ceremony at Howden Park Centre with his parents and teacher.

The Fun Run Launch

Some pupils from Primary 6 and Primary 7 have been working on a creative idea to launch the fun run.  They made a stop frame animation with the title of the fun run and a model running track.

P6 Residential Trip to Dalguise

Some of the Primary 6 pupils are off to Dalguise today.  They are staying until Friday. Dalguise is located between Dunkeld and Pitlochry, in Perthshire.   They will be very busy with activities and challenges.  Check the blog next week to find out how they got on.

Primary 6 win Breakfast Challenge

In a recent competition, P6 won the challenge to design a healthy breakfast.  They had lots of great ideas and excellent presentation of their entry.  The children had fun making (and eating) their winning healthy breakfast.
