Writing

If school is closed because of the snow, think about what you have been doing while you are not at school. Write a report for somebody to read about all you have being doing.

You can also write instructions using bullet points. You can write instructions for somebody on “How to Build a Snowman”. This person has never built a snowman before – how can they do it?

You can also write instructions for “How Mrs. Twit Makes Christmas Cake”. What does she put into the cake? How does she prepare the ingredients? How long does it take to bake?

Use maths games to practice your adding, subtraction and multiplication.

Continue to read any books you have at home.

Other

• Write some spelling words in the snow, find new words and learn how to spell them!
• Create a snow sculpture, take a picture and either send it to   deansict@yahoo.co.uk or bring it to school next time you are in.
• Design a Christmas scene.
