P7 Trip to France – Vimy Ridge

Thursday Today the group were visiting Vimy Ridge – the site of a famous Canadian victory in the first World War, and the fabulous monument nearby. Tonight they set sail from Rotterdam on the overnight ferry home.  

P7 Trip to France – Bagatelle Theme Park

P7 Trip to France – Visit to Bruges

Monday   The group arrived safely in Rotterdam and travelled to Bruges.  They enjoyed exploring the town in sunshine.  After lunch, they visited a chocolate museum, before travelling on to the hotel.

P7 Trip to France – Eden Camp

Sunday  (Picture courtesy of the Eden Camp)  The group left Livingston and travelled to Malton by bus.  They had a tour around the Eden Camp.  http://www.edencamp.co.uk/ Later on they travelled to Hull to catch the overnight ferry to Rotterdam.

France Trip

Some P7 pupils leave today for a week long trip to France.  Have a fantastic time and try out the french you have been learning in school when you are there.   Bon voyage

Royal Wedding Activities

Several classes in school have been working hard on their own “Royal Wedding” activites. English as an Additional Language Course

Adult Basic Education are running a 6 week short course for learners where English is their second language. This course will help learners improve their basic reading and writing skills.  The course will run at Deans Community High School in Livingston from Tues 17th May.   Please click on the leaflet link for further information.   Basic ESOL Flyer
