Loaningdale Visit

Some children in Primary 4 are off to Loaningdale outdoor activity centre today for an overnight residential. Loaningdale House is in Biggar. The weather forecast looks great – hope you all have a fabulous time.

Deans Win West Lothian Easter Competition

An Easter competition for all children in West Lothian took place recently.  Children were given the challenge to represent the Easter story.  We are delighted to learn that 3 pupils in P3L have won with their collaborative Easter Garden.    Well done to Jack, Emma and Shannon.

Holidays

The school breaks for Easter on Friday 8th April and will close at the normal time 12.30pm. Everyone will return on Tuesday 26th April. A reminder  that the school will be closed on Friday 29th April for the Royal Wedding. This is followed by the May Day  holiday on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd May.   [...]

Vouchers for Schools

We are once again collecting the vouchers  from Tesco.  This year the vouchers are available from 1st March until 9th May.  Please hand them in to the school office and hopefully we will be able to buy more equipment for the school. Fairtrade T-Shirt Designs

We had some very creative and thoughtful designs for our Fairtrade T-shirt design initiative.  We are now able to share photographs of some of the excellent work from pupils in classes across the school.

Healthy Eating

Primary 4 enjoyed a visit to the local butchers Lamb Chop in Deans, where the butcher demonstrated how to make healthy sausages and beefburgers as part of their healthy eating project.  The children enjoyed their visit and tasting the samples.  The class are going to make their own burgers using their own secret recipe in [...]
