Growing Beans

Primary 2/1 have been looking at seeds and plants.  They have planted some beans, sunflowers and cress in the classroom.  The cress is growing very fast.

The beans are beginning to grow now, and pupils have had fun looking at the roots and the stems.  When the sunflower and bean plants are a little bigger, we hope to plant them in the school garden.
