Voting in Deans Primary School

Primary 5 have been learning about the Scottish Parliament as part of their as part of their topic work.  They have created their own parties -  The Deans Mini Party, The Scottish Egg Heads, The Funky Monkey Party and The Clown Party.   The pupils were writing their own manifestos, making badges, book marks and posters and were involved in canvasing pupils throughout the  school to vote.

On Friday 7th May (the day after the UK general election), the whole school had the opportunity to visit the hall and vote for their chosen school party.

The winning party was the Deans Mini Party with 72 votes.  So far they have managed to arrange additional times for children to play on the field.
