Merry Christmas

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Snow Village

The first day it snowed at school – primary 2/1 were learning about snow melting and the texture and feeling of snow and ice.  They made some lovely mini snow people and had fun creating a snow village in the warmth of the class.  Unfortunately it didn’t last long – but it was fun!

Measuring in Maths

Primary 2/1 have been having fun learning about measuring.  They have measured hands and feet using non-standard units, and then using centimetres.  They have measured the classroom using metre sticks – it is a huge 7m long!  They are now experts at sorting largest and smallest and have enjoyed measuring and comparing Christmas items.

Infant Christmas Party

Children in Primary 1 and 2 had a great time today at their Christmas party.  Everyone dressed for the occasion, played games and had some party food.  There was even a visit from a “very special” visitor who called in to see everyone.

Infant Nativity

In ICT, two pupils in primary 5 designed this poster to advertise our infant nativity performance. Well done girls!

We are delighted to announce that three pupils from Deans Primary won the Sports Team Category Award. This is in recognition of the hard work and dedication to their sport. They are a shining example of good sportsmanship to the rest of the school. Well done girls!
