Food Co-op Visit

Primary 2/1 visited the food co-op as part of their Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch topic.  In the story, Mrs Grinling sends a lunch to the lighthouse in a basket.  We went to the food co-op to look at different fruits and vegetables and we made a healthy lunch basket of our own.

Shadows

P2 are learning about the sun and the solar system. We went out into the playground on a sunny morning to draw round our shadows. When we went back in the afternoon, the shadows were in a completely different place!

Magic Money

At assembly we had a visitor from the Livingston Credit Union. He showed us lots of magic tricks and told us all about saving. One lucky pupil won £1.

Trim Track Opens

Our brand new trim track is now open.  Children and staff have been involved in fundraising including organising a fun run, to help buy the equipment.  There is a soft play surface and a variety of different types of climbing equipment to challenge the children.  As a healthy school, we are delighted to have this [...]
