Volunteer Midlothian is a conference aimed at people who are considering volunteering, those already volunteering and organisations who involve volunteers.

The event will include:

· A marketplace of volunteering opportunities

· Meet the Volunteer hosted by Arlene Stuart of Forth One radio

· A range of workshops and training sessions (including Child Protection training, First Aid training and sessions on how to use volunteering experience to help gain employment or enter further education)

· And much more…

The event is the ideal chance for people to gain some training and find out more about volunteering opportunities that are available and how they provide an excellent source of experience.

Transport to and from the venue will run 3 times during the day but depending on numbers we are unable to guarantee a seat on the bus.
