A Musical Gift to CDC
As our P7s get ready to leave Campie School, they have one last gift to send to our friends in Burma – £168.65 which will feed 25 children for a week at CDC school.
Amy Foulner, Claire Welsh, Ellen Brown, Eve Russell, Hannah Gordon, Imogen Allen, Joy Archer, Luke Hunter, Lara Adams and Simon Archer all took part in Hits From the Musicals wonderfully directed by Judith Hunter and choreographed by Maya Allen, with a massive helping hand from Hugh Hunter.
The children spent weeks rehearsing and performed the show at Loretto School’s Theatre.
The event raised £337.30, and the cash was split between the library and CDC school. All children in the show got to choose books for Campie library to the value of £168.30.
