Our Super Seabird Surprise!
The ante preschool nursery children had a great time at the Scottish Seabird Centre this afternoon. They met Jenny, the Education Officer and she told them a special story about Percy the puffin and his seaside friends. The children helped Jenny to tell her story by making lots of different sounds. They also used their hands and arms to bring Percy the puffin’s story to life with fun actions! Jennyt also told the children lots of interesting facts about what puffins like to eat, how they fly and dive for their food and also how they build their nests and kiss each other! The children all listened really well and they were all keen to share their own facts and answer Jenny’s questions. We would once again like to extend an ENORMOUS thank you to Jenny for helping us to reschedule this extra special visit for our ante preschool children…they all had a fantastic time, especially as the bus arrived on time today ;0)
