Website Refresh… What Do You Think?
The Campie School website has undergone a little makeover; a new theme, layout and updated pages. Every year group has a page so you can quickly check what your class has been doing recently.
We are now also linked to Twitter and you can look at our ‘tweets’ in real time to get a sense of what’s going on in the school. Just look to the right of the main posts on the main page under the ‘What’s Happening…’ header or follow us directly on Twitter @whatsonatcampie.
We hope the site will be easier to use and looks a bit fresher and up to date. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
Ah,that explains why it was looking different recently. I think it looks great, still very easy to use and I really find the links to classes at the side very useful. Thank you.
After my initial surprise (my normal reaction to change) – I like the changes that have been made. The font used is much clearer, I feel, and it seems as if more is appearing on the page than before.
Twittering – not so sure about but then I hadn’t experienced blogging until Campie started it, so perhaps it’s the start of something new for me.
Keep up the good work.
Well done Mr Keiller, this is great. Would it look better with a darker background? Only a thought.
Love the what’s happening.
I think the new website looks great!
I love the pictures of the bees, and the layout seems to be much more user friendly. I love the fact that each year group has a page. We just need all the teachers to blog now!
Thanks Mr Keiller!
Thanks for all the positive comments, they really are appreciated. I have contacted David Gilmore about changing the colour of the theme to maybe a Campie maroonish colour, hopefully it’ll be doable. Stay tuned for more updates.
Are there any plans to update the content under the “parents” tab, in particular information on the parent council? It would be most useful to have minutes of past meetings here for the parent forum to view. Other schools do a similar thing. thanks
Definitely a possibility. I’ll be sure to look into that and see if that can be done for next session.
I think the web-site design is great. It’s well-organised and very sharp. It was pretty good before, but this has made it look better. Keep up the good work.
