P2 News

Last Thursday P2 enjoyed a variety of activities. In the morning we made some lovely pictures which we are looking forward to sharing with you at the Eco Art Exhibition in May. We had collected some  newspapers and “treasures” and set to work.  Lots of cutting and gluing later and our masterpieces were done. We are very pleased with the way they have turned out. Later we went to a special assembly to learn about saving energy. We are learning about saving water in class so we have been picking up some useful tips.                In the afternoon we went to the animal handling session. An iguana and tortoise were wandering around the gym while we were learning about the other animals there. Among them were spiders, snails, snails and cockroaches. It was really interesting and many of us bravely handled them! Apparently when a cockroach crawls across your face it feels tickly! Just ask Rosie.

On Friday we all took part in the readathon. How quiet we all were. Mrs Inglis is looking forward to the next one! We are now working on our Open Day, details of which will come home soon.
