P5 climb Traprain Law
Both P5 classes have been learning about Traprain Law in East Lothian as part of their Scotland topic in class. Both last week and this groups of children have visited Traprain Law with Mrs Stark and have been learning all about what life would have been like living on the hill fort there around 2000 years ago.The view from the top of the hill was fantastic as they were able to see Arthur Seat in the distance to the west as well as North Berwick Law and the Bass Rock closer by. This trip really gave the children the sense of what life may have been like for the Votadini Tribe who lived there in the iron age around the time the Romans invaded Scotland.
