What A Windy Day!
Primary 2 have been hard at work learning about the weather. So far we have looked at rain, snow and thunder and lightning but recently we have been learning about wind. We all know different names for wind, what wind is good for and what we use to measure wind.
We have also been making out own ‘wind turbines’. First we took a piece of paper and coloured it in however we liked, we then cut the paper diagonally (but not all the way to the centre), we then folded the paper to make it look like a windmill, then we pushed a pin through the paper and through an art straw and secured it with a bit of tape.
As you can see we really enjoyed making our wind turbines and we’re looking forward to learning more about weather later in the term.
Great work P2 and well done Mr Keiller for putting these lovely photos on the website. P2 parents will be delighted.
