<p>It is an exciting time to be studying or involved in Biology as the celebrations of Darwin’s 200th birthday in February 2009 begin. As Darwin studied Medicine in Edinburgh in 1852 there are numerous events planned in the city to mark the anniversary. I would urge all students with an interest in Biology to get along to some the events that cater for all ages and let the Broughton staff know what you experienced. There are trips planned for the department&#8217;s students amd I&#8217;ll keep you posted on the blog and in class.</p>
