About our school.
Yester is a small primary school situated in the village of Gifford, East Lothian. At present the school role is around 175. There is one class for each primary, and our P7 class has 22 children. Our teachers are Miss Stuart and Mr Purves.
In many ways, the school is the centre of the local community, as many of the children come here on school buses from outlying areas and farms in the countryside around Gifford.
