Subpages for Middle Stages P4-5:

Middle Stages P4-5

On this page you will find out what the pupils in P4 and P5 are doing.

P4 pupils in P4/5 have started their 10 week block of swimming.  Despite the terrible weather, they still managed to walk to and from the Loch Centre last Thursday.  We would remind parents to make sure the children are warmly dressed for such activities.

A group of P4 pupils attending a Fun Athletics event at Meadowmill on Wednesday 30th January.  The children met pupils from different schools around the county.  The children were in mixed groups with other pupils and took part in a variety of running, jumping and throwing events.  Some of our actions photos are a little blurry, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy seeing what a great time they had.  At the end of the morning, they came back exhausted and everyone had had a great time.

The school are taking the responsibility to provide everyone will all the pencils, rubbers etc that they need. We have found that pencil cases are taking up a lot of space and time in classes, and sometimes things have gone missing, so we hope that by providing all the equipment you need we can sort out these problems.

Thanks for your comment Alyx - you’ll be pleased to know that some of the P5 teachers are planning a trip for their class at the moment - keep checking this page to find out where they go and how they get on. As for active things - do you have any activities in mind?

We had great fun at the athletics. We really enjoyed making new friends and it was an exciting way to keep fit.
We would love to go again!

The school is fab. I love it, I think it is great. I have been here since August and I have made lots of new friends. I love my teacher Ms Macdonald and Ms Davidson (who is off). I think P4/5 is a fun class to be in. Thanks to everybody for being great friends to me At Windygoul Primary.

I think this school is great. I have just moved to this school in December and I have made lots of new friends already. Ms Macdonald is a nice teacher but I have not met Ms Davidson yet because she is off. I think the classes are really clean and I think it is a really nice school. My only problem is I wish I was there to meet the Prime Minister. My Friends are really nice to me and I am glad I moved to this school.

The p5s were at a rugby festival yesterday. It was good fun.
I wish we got more than 5 sessions. My team was called Australia - we won 2 games and only lost 1.
I like Windygoul school the best!

Can any one give me tips on how to get the school’s black paint out of the red sweatshirts?

Teachers - can you please source a ‘friendlier’ black paint.

Mrs Veerman, we’re aware this has been a bit of a problem and are looking into different suppliers of paint. I’ll also remind everyone that painting shirts should be used - any old shirts that you have at home can be brought into school for painting activities.

Re Paint on SWEATSHIRTS

If you have vanish powder, make it into a paste and rub it into the paint stain, it works if done asap if its an old stain just do it evertime you wash it and eventually it fades to a decent condition.
