The Smoothest Smoothie
As part of Health Week, children from P4-P7 were asked to invent a fruit smoothie. We had loads of imaginative entries but chose 5 finalists. The lucky 5 were Alex P4/5, Brandon P4, Jodi P4/5, Joanna P5 and Lauren P4/5.Each finalist made their smoothie in school and our panel of tasters scored them. Our panel were Fraser P4, Ewan P4/5, Katie P5, Lia P6 and Annalee P7.
The winner was Alex in P4/5 with her delicious “Tantalising Tropical Twist”. Well-done Alex!!All 5 finalists will have their smoothies entered in the “Smoothest Smoothie in Scotland” competition as part of the Scottish Food Fortnight in July. Good luck to them all and thank you to all pupils who entered the competition.
