Windygoul Primary School

This short film shows the excellent progress the morning children in this small group have made in literacy and numeracy this year. Work with names and initial sounds is strong, and shows they are familiar with quite a range of letters, sounds, and skills essential for reading. Numeracy is also well advanced, with a concept attached to the counting words, and a real life context for the children.  The children’s interest is maintained by using  objects and songs, with turn taking, while listening skills are being developed. Excelent group and individual behaviour can also be seen.  Fantastic small group activity!
